And no I am not talking about Juice, Pills, Potions and Lotions, Self Help, Vacations,Financial Services or E- Books. I am talking about a product that many people depend on,love, care about and look forwad to seeing everyday. That product is YOU.

The mistake many of us make ( I’m guilty as charged) is promoting the product services and/or opportunity we are involved with, first and foremost. Yes, a token few may buy from us or join us in our business but that is the exception not the rule. The reality is that many people that consider joining an opportunity come back several times before they join you, they check your name on Google, they think about it and check some more. If they don’t find any credibility, they will most likely move on.

Even if you are between opportunities and are not promoting anything or are struggling with a current one and but are planning to stay in the business, It is a very smart thing to do to build up your name and reputation. In fact that type of down time can be very beneficial if you can stay the course and educate yourself on the more technical sides of marketing and get your own questions answered, that way you put yourself in a position of knowledge and are the “Go to”person when you do get involved with an opportunity. In other words put yourself in a leadership position by knowledge and reputation. If you continue to build relationships with people and trust is built, they will follow you anywhere.
